Meet Our Hockey Instructors
Anthony Petrak- Lead Hockey Instructor
Anthony played four years of D1 college hockey for Robert Morris University in Chicago. His top achievement there was being named MVP in the Division 1 National Tournament and also being recognized on the Dean's List for academic achievement. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
Prior to college, Anthony played for three Junior teams, the Eau Claire Mustangs, the Grand Rapids Owls and the Toledo Cherokees.
Anthony has coached at elite national camps such as the Laura Stamm Power Skating School and Midwest Goalie School. With over 20 years of hockey experience, Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our young hockey students. His goal is for students to work hard, have fun and develop strong values for life.

Jordan Zwolinski- Lead Hockey Instructor
Jordan Zwolinski is one of Rocket Ice’s lead hockey instructors. With over ten years of experience as a hockey instructor, Jordan provides our students strong fundamentals in skating, shooting and scoring that will take them to a higher level.
Jordan grew up playing in the strong youth hockey programs of the Cleveland, Ohio metro area. He played high school hockey his senior year at the prestigious Vermont Academy Prep School in Saxtons River, Vermont. Through hockey instruction Jordan hopes to instill the values of practice, hard work, friendship and fun in all our young students.
Along with his love for hockey, Jordan also enjoys music and golf. Jordan is dedicated to making sure your child maximizes their skating potential. Tom Galvin- Lead Hockey Instructor
Tom Galvin is one of Rocket Ice's lead hockey instructors. As a hockey player, Tom played Division 1 hockey at Notre Dame where he was awarded Top Defensemen on the first team, earning himself a spot in the NCAA hockey tournament. After graduating from Notre Dame on the Dean's list with a Bachelor's degree in Management, Tom went on to play 7 years of professional hockey with teams including the Manitoba Moose, Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Fury, Bloomington Thunder, and the Reading Royals. During his professional career, Tom earned invitations to attend two NHL hockey training camps for the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs. From playing professional hockey to coaching sled hockey, Tom has lived a life centered on hockey.
With over 13 years of experience as a hockey instructor, Tom has taught youth from ages 3 to 16. From his experience Tom has learned to not only teach the game of hockey but to also teach the importance of education, discipline, work ethic, and fun in all of his activities.

Nick Siroky- Hockey Instructor
Nick has been a great hockey instructor at Rocket Ice Skating Rink since 2010, where he has developed hundreds of young students from their first steps on the ice, to shooting and scoring, to tryouts and beyond. Parents and students alike give Nick high marks for his fun and patient style with the little ones and his ability to challenge and demand more of players as they improve.
Nick was a standout hockey player for Lockport High School where he was honored by being a member of the Illinois all-star team. As a hockey coach, Nick shares his experience, leadership, and great attitude with all of his students.

Ray Lilja- Hockey Instructor
Ray joins our professional staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience in hockey training at all levels and age groups. His 30+ years of playing and teaching experience includes, college hockey at Illinois State University, semi-pro hockey with the Peoria Blades and even a brief professional career (a cup of coffee) with the Peoria Rivermen. He has held various positions including, Hockey Director, Power Skating & Skills Coach, Hockey Camp Director and Master Instructor. Ray currently holds a USA Hockey Level 5 coaching certification (Master Instructor) as well as coaching certifications in Canada and Europe. He is the founder of Pro Hockey Academy, a private hockey school and is also the Executive Director of Hockey On Your Block, a non-profit inner city youth hockey program in alliance with the Chicago Blackhawks and the NHL.
Ray’s believes hockey is an enriching journey that everyone should have the opportunity to experience. His goal as a Lead Hockey Instructor is to simply provide a fun learning experience while teaching the fundamentals of the greatest game on the planet.
Justin Pirard- Hockey Instructor
Justin attended high school at Shattuck - St. Mary's, the elite Minnesota hockey boarding school whose alumni include Jonathan Toews, Sidney Crosby, and Zach Parise. At Shattuck, Justin played on the Midget AAA team and was team captain his senior year. Justin started his hockey career at the local Sabres Hockey Club and then played AAA for the Fury before heading to Minnesota. Justin is now attending Northern Illinois University and is excited about his hockey coaching career. As a hockey instructor, Justin shares his love of hockey and the life skills it teaches.
Tyler Cuda- Hockey Instructor
Tyler has been involved in the game of hockey for over 16 years. He played on the varsity hockey team at Plainfield High School and played 3 years of hockey for Robert Morris College. In addition to being a hockey instructor Tyler has also been an assistant hockey instructor at Plainfield High school and an on-ice hockey official. In his free time Tyler enjoys playing the guitar and piano. Tyler now shares his love for hockey as an instructor in the Rocket Ice Skating Rink Learn to Play Hockey program. His advice to students, “work hard and keep it fun!”
Andrew Fischenberg- Hockey Instructor
Andrew has been heavily involved in hockey throughout his life, and was chosen to represent the state of Arizona at the 2004 Rocky Mountain District Camp in Salt Lake City. He started his professional career for the Boston Harbor Wolves in the Eastern Junior Hockey League in 2006. Later that same season he moved to the New England Jr. Huskies, in the same league, and stayed with them for two years before retiring at the end of 2008. He also has a Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University.
