Learn to Play Hockey Program: Hockey Lessons

At Rocket Ice Skating Rink, our goal is to provide fun hockey lessons for ice skaters of all ages and abilities. Throughout your child’s time in our hockey lessons, they will learn fundamental ice skating and hockey skills, grow as a skater and reach new levels as an athlete. Our coaches have outstanding hockey backgrounds and are very knowledgeable. Each player will be well prepared from their hockey lessons when they decide to join a hockey team.

General Hockey Lesson Class Information

Hockey lessons meet once a week. At the end of each session, hockey players will receive a Progress Report which will help them select the appropriate hockey lesson level to sign up for next. In order for students to maximize their progress we provide each hockey player enrolled in a hockey lesson with a VIP skater card. This allows the student to skate for free during the weeks of their hockey lesson at our Rockin’ Public Skates. This is a great setting for your child to practice their moves and skills while having fun ice skating to the music.

My family (including me) participate in Rocket Ice activities (both youth and adult hockey) and there is no better venue.  Your team always makes me and my family feel welcome.  In all that you guys do, you have pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable people.  I know you know this, and I advised of this before, but it is worth repeating.  I would recommend Rocket Ice to any family or other entity for a youth function.  Your staff continues to time and time again prove to be exceptional in all they do.  Thanks again to you and your outstanding staff.  We love Rocket Ice!
