Lockport School Districts 89, 90, 91, 92 and 339, do you have a day off school?  Rocket Ice Skating rink offers two hours of Rockin’ Public Ice Skating.  Freestyle ice has two extra hours of ice on your days off school.  Hockey players get at least four hours of “Stick and Puck” to practice shooting, skating and scoring in their full equipment.  Rocket Ice Skating rink is the place for Lockport families to come to on days off school!

Adult Hockey

Rocket Ice offers hockey for adults too! We have adult hockey lessons, adults hockey leagues, tournaments, and Adult Rat Hockey. Adult hockey is fun and competitive!

Youth Hockey

Our youth hockey lessons are a great way for students to learn the basics of hockey and advance their skills. We offer a variety of lessons based on age and skill level. Hockey students need full equipment, which can be rented from Rocket Ice. We look forward to sharing our love for hockey with you!

Figure Skating

Rocket Ice is excited to share our figure skating program with you! We offer figure skating lessons for all ages and levels. Our coaches meet with figure skating students once a week. All students will get a VIP Skater card that lets you skate for free during the weeks of your ice skating lessons. We also offer Freestyle Ice, competitions, and synchronized skating.

My family (including me) participate in Rocket Ice activities (both youth and adult hockey) and there is no better venue.  Your team always makes me and my family feel welcome.  In all that you guys do, you have pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable people.  I know you know this, and I advised of this before, but it is worth repeating.  I would recommend Rocket Ice to any family or other entity for a youth function.  Your staff continues to time and time again prove to be exceptional in all they do.  Thanks again to you and your outstanding staff.  We love Rocket Ice!

"Rocket Ice- A few weeks ago I came with a group of individuals with special needs as a volunteer and I was so impressed with your staff that I chose to come with my family today. I live in Lombard and your location is not the nearest ice arena near my home. I came for my 3 year old daughter's first time ice skating, and I have to say that I am still impressed and contemplating signing her up for classes to learn to skate. The girl in the ice skate rental window should have special notation as she was the sweetest, and most warm person to me, and my family. Your referees (my apologies if this isn't the correct term) were very kind the night of my volunteering and during my 3 year old's meltdown about having to leave Elsa and Ana. I just wanted to pop in and say thank you! Thank you for making a great memory for me, and my family!"

"Rocket Ice- Rocket's Freestyle Ice Times work well with our busy family schedule. It is really helpful that Rocket provides this freestyle schedule months in advance so that we can plan our private lesson. It is nice that the online schedule is just a click away. "Rocket Ice- My daughter and I were so impressed with the competition that Rocket Ice Arena put on. This was our favorite one she's done. It was well organized, the staff was friendly and professional, and there was just an overall feeling of warmth at the rink (if that makes sense haha). The goody bags were a huge hit and Gracie could not stop talking about the medals. She competes in synchro and said she has not seen any as cute as yours! We will definitely be back next year!"

"Rocket Ice- My son learned to skate and learned to play hockey in the Rocket Ice Program. He started in level one, worked his way up to level four and now he is doing well in the Sabres. The Rocket Ice instructors are excellent. They taught Scott so much about skating and hockey and they all had fun doing it! They do a really great job of keeping the kids interest- keep it up."
